Welcome to Youth Events. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our website.

1. Basics

By using youthevents.in, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. You must be at least 18 years old to use the platform. If you purchase tickets for a minor, you are solely responsible for their participation. We may modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the website or app signifies your acceptance of any updates.

2. Role of youthevents.in

youthevents.in operates as a ticketing and event management platform. Event organisers use the platform to create and manage events, set prices, and define event rules and entry conditions. When you purchase a ticket, your agreement is with the event organiser, not youthevents.in. We do not produce events and are not responsible for their quality, safety, experience, or overall satisfaction.

3. Accounts & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and ensuring that your login credentials are kept confidential. All activities conducted from your account are considered to be yours. Never share your OTPs, passwords, or ticket QR codes with others. youthevents.in reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts suspected of fraud, abuse, or policy violations.

4. Tickets, Pricing & Taxes

Ticket prices may include convenience fees, payment gateway charges, and applicable taxes. The total payable amount is always displayed at checkout. Organisers are solely responsible for GST and other statutory compliance related to their sales. To prevent ticket scalping or misuse, we may limit the number of tickets available per user or device.

5. Cancellations, Exchanges & Refunds

All sales made through youthevents.in are final, and we do not offer cancellations, exchanges, or refunds. Refunds are not provided for late arrivals, no-shows, partial attendance, dissatisfaction, change of mind, or technical issues such as device failures, internet interruptions, or failure to carry a valid QR code.
Changes to the event lineup, performers, timings (within reasonable limits), venue layout, or seating do not entitle you to a refund.
If an event is cancelled or not performed, any refund (if applicable) is limited to the face value of the ticket, at the discretion of the organiser or youthevents.in. Fees and charges are non-refundable unless required by law.
In case of postponement or rescheduling, tickets remain valid for the new date unless the organiser explicitly offers refunds. Filing chargebacks or disputes without first contacting support may result in account restrictions. Any approved refund will be processed to the original payment method within a reasonable period.

6. Delivery & Entry

Tickets and QR codes are delivered digitally to your registered account, email, or via SMS. Keep them secure. Each QR code admits one person only, and if multiple copies are made, the first scan to validate at the venue will be considered valid. Subsequent scans will be rejected without refund.
Entry to events is subject to organiser and venue rules, which may include ID checks, frisking, bag restrictions, age limits, dress codes, alcohol policies, and other security or safety measures. Entry may be refused for non-compliance, and no refunds will be issued in such cases.

7. Event Changes, Safety & Conduct

Event details, timings, or venues may change. Attendees are advised to check the event listing and any communications from organisers before travelling. You agree to follow all staff and venue instructions during the event. Attendance is at your own risk, and youthevents.in is not liable for any personal injury, theft, damage, or loss occurring at or around the venue. Any abusive, illegal, or unsafe behaviour may result in removal from the venue without refund.

8. Prohibited Uses

Users and organisers are prohibited from engaging in unlawful activities, intellectual property infringement, scams, misleading promotions, hate speech, abusive or explicit content, sale of illegal goods or services, or using bots and automated tools for scraping or ticket resale.
Tickets must not be resold or advertised at prices higher than face value where restricted by law or the organiser.

9. Payments & Gateways

All payments are processed securely by third-party payment gateways such as card processors, UPI, or wallet providers. youthevents.in does not store full card or UPI credentials. If any transaction appears suspicious or fraudulent, it may be delayed, reviewed, or cancelled.

10. Organiser Obligations

Event organisers must provide accurate details about their events, including date, time, venue, age restrictions, and inclusions or exclusions. They are responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and ensuring safety and capacity compliance. Organisers must honour valid tickets, manage on-ground operations, and process cancellations or refunds when legally required.
Organisers must comply with applicable tax laws, including GST, invoicing, and KYC obligations. youthevents.in may hold reserves, delay settlements, or deduct chargebacks, refunds, penalties, or service fees from organiser payouts when necessary.

11. Content & Intellectual Property

All event content, including pages, logos, and images, remains the property of their respective rights holders. By uploading content, organisers grant youthevents.in a non-exclusive licence to host, display, and promote the content for the purpose of operating the platform and related events. You must not upload or share any content you do not have the legal rights to use.

12. Platform Use

The website, app, software, design, and trademarks of youthevents.in are owned or licensed by the company. Users may not copy, reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise interfere with the platform. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time without prior notice.

13. Privacy

Your personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy. We may send transactional communications via email, SMS, or WhatsApp related to your orders, entries, and account security. Marketing communications are sent only with your consent, and you may opt out at any time.

14. Liability

The platform is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, youthevents.in is not liable for event quality, cancellations, changes, delays, or the actions of organisers, venues, or vendors. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the service fee we received from you for the affected transaction, excluding the ticket face value paid to the organiser.

15. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless youthevents.in, its affiliates, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the platform, breach of these Terms, or violation of any applicable laws or third-party rights.

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account, cancel orders, or withhold payouts if we suspect fraud, misuse, chargeback risks, or any non-compliance with applicable laws or platform policies.

17. Force Majeure

youthevents.in is not responsible for failures or delays in performance due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, network outages, epidemics, or government actions.

18. Disputes & Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Users agree to first attempt to resolve disputes in good faith through our support channels. Subject to applicable law, disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.
